“Aviary on the Air” to Debut January 30th on KQV 1410

PITTSBURGH, PA, January 28, 2013 – The National Aviary is proud to announce that its new radio show, “Aviary on the Air”, will debut on January 30th at 7 P.M. Eastern on KQV AM 1410.

“Aviary on the Air“ will be a valuable addition to KQV AM 1410’s lineup of programs for people interested in wildlife and nature. Listeners will hear from bird experts from the National Aviary, wildlife centers, and bloggers who will offer both educational and entertaining insights on both local and exotic birds, as well as tips on their care, health and behavior.   In addition to prepared segments, listeners will be able to e-mail their questions to the National Aviary staff during and after the show.

Newlin Archinal, a former Anchor/Reporter from WPXI Channel 11 here in Pittsburgh, will host the show. Her thoughtful and compassionate approach to news has won her numerous Emmy nominations for her journalistic work.  Newlin is now a wealth management retirement planning professional in Wexford, where her passion for broadcasting, conservation, and wildlife continues.

"Aviary on the Air" will air twice a month on Wednesdays at 7 P.M. Eastern.
