Restricted to Palawan Island in the SW Philippines

Habitat

Forests, especially old growth forest

Diet

Many kinds of invertebrates; also eats seeds and small fruits

Breeding

Males dance close to the females with spread tail in the frontal display; with spread wings in lateral display, holding the wing nearer the female dropped and the wing further away raised. Clutch size is two eggs, and incubation lasts about 20 days.
