Grab your binoculars and become a world traveler without leaving Pittsburgh during the National Aviary’s NEW summer season, Global Odyssey: Avian Adventure!  
 
“Travelers” (aka YOU) will uncover the secrets behind the birds, mammals, and reptiles that thrive in habitats from the tropical forests of Australia and New Guinea to the coastal beaches of Namibia and the Florida Keys…just to name a few!
 
BRAND NEW “In-Flight Entertainment,” or rather Daily Activities, include feedings and talks that are bound to unleash everyone’s inner nomad as they highlight exciting faraway environments and the unique species which inhabit them.

Guests of all ages can also get their Global Odyssey Passport stamped as they experience a scavenger hunt throughout the Aviary, to take with them as a souvenir from their “trip!”

With a “Flight Upgrade,” get a first-class seat to the National Aviary’s summer-only outdoor show: SkyDeck! Watch our “flight crew” of Black Kites, Hooded Vultures, and a Lanner Falcon swoop and glide right over your head!

Spend an Evening in Paradise on the North Shore during the National Aviary’s blockbuster 21+ party: Night in the Tropics Presented by UPMC Health Plan.

Back on Friday by popular demand, guests can take in a glowing sunset while eating, drinking, and dancing their way around what feels like a colorful, lantern-lit Indo-Malayan night market!

Let the twinkling lights and scents of hibiscus transport you to the islands of Southeast Asia, with show-stopping live entertainment, a spread of delicious drinks, unlimited mouthwatering bites from more than a dozen local restaurants, and more- all included with your ticket!
