Party in July with the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, National Aviary and Vintage Grand Prix

July 18: The Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is holding Blossom — The Pollinator Party at its 460 acres in Collier and North Fayette. The event, which is part of David Rogers’ Big Bugs + Pollinators exhibit, starts at 6 p.m.

Guests are encouraged to showcase their floral flair as the enjoy a botanically-inspired dinner among the blooms. The party supports the mission of conservation, education and inspiration though the beauty of the Allegheny Plateau landscape. Tickets start at $350 at pittsburghbotanicgarden.org. July 19:  St. Clair Health’s 25th annual Summer Swing, Meet Me in Paris will welcome more than 500 supporters to St. Clair Country Club. The party will kick off with a VIP reception at 6 P.M.  The party, which includes food stations throughout the club, entertainment, raffles and a silent auction starts at 7 P.M.

July 26 A Night in the Tropics: Island Oasis to benefit the National Aviary on the North Side. There will be food and drinks from 19 area businesses and live entertainment  by No Bad JuJu, Mariachi by Miguel, Guaracha and Marlon’s Dancers.

The VIP party begins at 6 p.m. and includes free valet parking. Regular admission begins at 7 p.m. There will be a silent auction and a chance to purchase raffle tickets for a trip for two to Maui sponsored by AAA Travel. VIP tickets cost $165 and general admission tickets cost $105 at nationalaviary.flywheelstaging.com

July 26: The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix race week kick-off event Black Tie & Tailpipes is being held at Wintergarden, PPG Place. The formal event, which begins at 7 p.m., will be emceed by Broadway, film and TV star Billy Hartung.

The gala includes cool cars parked outside, an open bar, dinner and a silent and live auction. Tickets cost $325 at pvgp.org.

July 30: The Sewickley Stampede and Roundup featuring Porches on Beaver Street runs from 5:30-9 p.m. The party, which is part of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, will be held at the Hotel and Rosa’s Cantina, 509 Beaver St., Sewickley. Chef Robin Fernandez is preparing a special menu. Tickets are $50. Proceeds from all Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix events benefit individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
