Allegheny County announces free tickets to Pittsburgh attractions for library card holders

RAD Summer Staycation is back for 2025 with more offers

 
Summer is right around the corner, and Allegheny County is looking to help you and your family find things to do.The Allegheny Regional Asset District is bringing back the RAD Summer Staycation program, which offers free admission to museums and other Pittsburgh attractions for county residents who have a library card.

Passes may be reserved on RADPass.org.

The list of participating locations currently includes:

  • Carnegie Museum of Art
  • Carnegie Museum of Natural History
  • Carnegie Science Center
  • Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh
  • The Frick Pittsburgh
  • Mattress Factory
  • National Aviary
  • Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium

RAD says other institutions will also make offers available in the coming months:

  • Heinz History Center
  • Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
  • Pittsburgh Botanic Garden
  • Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum

“We’re fortunate to have some of the nation’s most impressive museums and living attractions right here in Allegheny County,” County Executive Sara Innamorato said in a statement. “I send my thanks to all of these organizations for providing opportunities for county residents, regardless of the municipality in which they live, to enjoy a free day out at these local gems.”
