Season’s Greetings Saturdays

November 30 |

Sat., November 30 and December 7, 14, and 21 | 10 am – 2 pm | Included with General Admission

Get your wish list and cameras ready… Santa and his penguin helpers are coming to the National Aviary! Saturdays before Christmas, visitors will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa AND an African Penguin, plus learn from an Aviary expert how their festive, tuxedoed feathers help them swim and what you can do to help save this Critically Endangered species.

Bring your camera for a new twist on this fun holiday tradition. 

Season’s Greetings Saturdays Schedule of Activities:

  • 10 am – 2 pm: Festive Holiday Crafts | Atrium 
  • 10 am – 2 pm: Letters to Santa | Atrium 
  • 10:15 am – 2 pm: Holiday Photos with Santa AND a Penguin | Atrium 
    • Santa will be on his lunch break from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
  • 11:30 am: Holiday Storytime…with a special guest! | Helen M. Schmidt FliteZone™ Theater

Plus,  stop by our Giving Tree, located in the Atrium!
