TreeTops Presented by Peoples

Toucan on a branch
Female Vietnam Pheasant on the naturalistic grounds.

The National Aviary’s TreeTops Presented by Peoples is an indoor habitat featuring two beautiful bird species. Today, this stunning space is blooming with lush, green trees and plants that thrive in the natural sunlight provided by the bird-safe glass windows.

Watch as Toco Toucans use their impressive, lightweight bills to feed on a variety of fruits and insects. Try and spot two Vietnam Pheasants foraging amongst the brush, which have not been seen in the wild in since 2000.
