Meet and Tweets – $199

Our team went remote earlier this spring and again in July.  Each day, we are all on Microsoft Teams meetings for the entire workday. I could see the video meeting fatigue setting in.  When I learned about the National Aviary’s “Meet and Tweet” program, I decided to surprise my team with a visit from an African penguin.  As you can see from the photo, everyone was delighted by the unexpected visitor.  It changed our meeting from mundane to energetic and engaging.  We enjoyed learning about the penguins from the knowledgeable staff at the National Aviary. During a time when so many people are facing isolation as they work from home, I highly recommend a visit from a feathered friend at the National Aviary.  It can brighten someone’s day and also reward your co-workers for all of their efforts while they are away from their colleagues and missing their routine and everyday interactions.
