Explore the National Aviary during a sensory-inclusive experience, designed for those with sensory processing needs to make the most of their trip. During Sensory Friendly time, you can see and touch biofacts, including eggs and feathers,  and enjoy a sensory-friendly version of Passport to Parks, presented by AAA Travel at 11 am. Plus, visit our sensory table and explore our Interactive Play Spaces, including a larger-than-life Draw Alive station.  Sensory Bags from KultureCity, featuring items like headphones and fidget toys, are available to borrow daily at the National Aviary.

A helpful sensory guide to the sights, sounds, and climate of the Aviary's habitats can be viewed in advance AND during your trip. Please register in advance!
