Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour at Rescata Animal Zooave, a nonprofit accredited zoo and wildlife rescue center located in a tropical forest next to the capital city of San Jose. Travel to Tortuguero National Park and search for the elusive green macaw and other unique winged creatures that flock to Tortuguero before you board a cruise getting a glimpse into the life of jaguars, manatees, ocelots, and more. Head to San Carlos for a bird’s-eye view of the jungle on a guided tour of Arenal’s famous hanging bridges! Take in the view of the Arenal Volcano and tour a local coffee planation. Head to Playa Herradura and Manuel Antonio National Park, home to verdant rainforests and white sand beaches. Finish your trip in Tarcoles with an exhilarating jungle crocodile safari and return to San Jose!
