Hike-A-Thon

NEW! The National Aviary’s first-ever Hike-A-Thon presented by UPMC Health Plan begins September 1, 2021 and registration is open now!

Hike, bike, birdwatch, or explore from wherever you are, and support the National Aviary’s work to save birds and protect their habitats!

During the month of September, however and wherever you get outside, virtually log your miles, engage your friends, compete to win great prizes, and raise funds for the National Aviary.

Register for just $35 to receive a welcome packet, including a limited edition Hike-A-Thon T-shirt, or participate for free!

Once you register, you can create a team or a fundraising page for your family and friends to support you! Participants will receive instructions to log their activity and stay connected to the National Aviary with Strava, or track your participation on your own.

Get active and have fun while you support the National Aviary’s mission to inspire respect for nature through an appreciation of birds!
