Owl Prowls

Friday, February 1 and Monday, February 4, 2019

Offsite: Audubon Greenway; Sewickley

Bird and nature lovers are invited to join National Aviary ornithologist, Bob Mulvihill, for two Owl Prowls - guided, after-dark nature walks to look and listen for owls in Pittsburgh’s local parks. Bob will bring a calling device to coax owls closer as he leads the group through wooded paths. Participants will enjoy a fascinating discussion about owls and their unique adaptations, as well as an introduction to the species of owls that can be found in the area.

Participants should bring a flashlight, dress for the weather, and wear good walking shoes or boots for this exciting night-time event. This program is great for ages 7 and up!

Both programs will begin promptly at 7:00 pm and last until at 9:00 pm or later.

Cost is $10 per person; pre-registration is required.

To reserve your space(s) for one or both owl prowls, contact Audrey Beichner at 412-258-9463 or Audrey.Beichner@Aviary.org
