Job Shadow Series

Step into the shoes of aviculturists and veterinarians during a new job shadow program!

Aspiring veterinarians and zookeepers ages 14 to 18 can spend four days exploring careers working with animals under the guidance of the National Aviary's aviculturists and veterinarians. Take a guided tour, work alongside our expert staff, and find out how we care for more than 500 birds and their habitats. Participants will even learn veterinary techniques by performing a necropsy on a real specimen!
