Trick or Treat! Bring your kids to visit the National Aviary for Halloween fun with enhanced safety protocols!

10 am – 4 pm: Make your own fun! Stop by the Atrium and enjoy an owl-themed craft.

10 am – 4 pm: Trick or Treat! Kids will receive a bag full of fun upon check-in at our Visitors Services Desk.

10 am – 4 pm: Explore owl biofacts, like feathers, with a National Aviary expert as you learn more about these elusive birds.

11:30 am: Story time! Listen during an engaging owl-themed story!

1 pm and 3:30 pm: Owl Meet and Greet! Get the chance to see a owl in the theater!

2 pm: Spooky Feeding! What treats are the Malayan Flying Foxes hoping for this Halloween? Probably their favorite tropical fruits! Head to the Bat Habitat and learn all about them from a National Aviary during Bat Talk!
