  • Owl Prowls - January 23 & 31 | 7 pm - 9 pm
    Join National Aviary ornithologist, Bob Mulvihill for a guided, after-dark nature walk to look and listen for owls in our local parks.
  • Winter Raptor Survey Day Tour - February 2 & 7 | 9 am - 4 pm
    Go on a winter adventure from the National Aviary north to Pymatuning Reservoir and back again to participate in the Hawk Migration Association’s annual winter raptor survey! Nature enthusiasts may see up to ten different raptors, and will visit Goddard State Park to see a Bald Eagle nest!
  • Waterfowl Migration Day Tour - March 23 | 8 am - 4 pm
    See hundreds of waterfowl including ducks, grebes, loons, geese and swans. You may see Bald Eagles and Sandhill Cranes too! Planned stops include Lake Arthur, Conneaut Marsh, and Pymatuning Reservoir.
  • Presque Isle Day Tour - May 11 | 9 am - 4 pm
    Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day with a guided tour through one of the most important migration hotspots in Pennsylvania. You will visit the Erie Bird Observatory’s spring bird-banding station for some close-up views of colorful migrant wood warblers.

    This overview of bird-friendly habitats is a great starting point for creating a space that is attractive to birds and healthier for you!
