FUN FACT

Adult Spectacled Owls are distinctive for their brown upperparts and head with whitish face markings, juveniles are the complete opposite -- pure white with except for a chocolate brown facial disc.

Much of Central and South America.

Habitat

Dense, old-growth rainforest.

Small rodents and lizards.
