FUN FACT

Although called a "thrush," the Dhyal Thrush -- also known as the "Oriental Magpie-Robin" -- is more closely related to Old World Flycatchers.

Distribution

Most of India and southeast Asia.

Habitat

The Dhyal Thrush's native habitat is open woodlands, but it is frequently found living near humans throughout India.

Diet

Insects and other small invertebrates.
