2017 Volunteer of the Year

2017 Volunteer of the Year is Melissa!

Thanks to the talented and dedicated volunteers at the National Aviary, we are doing our part to save birds and protect their habitats. Today, we honor one very special volunteer: Melissa, the winner of our 2017 Volunteer of the Year award! Congratulations, Melissa!

The amount of passion she shows in all of the educational programming she does is truly inspirational.  Her dedication and commitment to education has enabled the National Aviary to build its capacity to reach children and adults with our conservation education messages.  Melissa’s skill and demonstrated professionalism makes her a model ambassador for the National Aviary. We are  honored to have her as our 2017 Volunteer of the Year. Thank you for your passion and dedication to our mission.
