Spend some quality time with the best dressed residents of the National Aviary! Participants learn about penguins’ natural history, adaptations, feeding and nesting habits, and the challenges they face surviving in a rapidly changing environment. Best of all, it’s a once in a lifetime chance to touch and present toys to one of the Aviary’s African penguins. A photo opportunity is provided at the end of the program.

Information and Pricing: $40 per participant; $35 for Aviary members. Includes general admission to the National Aviary and access to all daily activities. Children ages 6-14 must be accompanied by a participating (paying) adult. Group size limited to eight people. Cameras are not allowed in the program. CDs with photos of your experience will be available after the program for $10 per CD.

Advance registration required. Programs can sell out months in advance for holidays and weekends.
