In celebration of Sidney the penguin’s first birthday, the Aviary will offer free admission and special penguin encounters and activities throughout the day. Visitors will have the opportunity sign a birthday card for Sidney and learn about the Aviary’s new open-air African penguin exhibit, Penguin Point, currently under construction.

Educational presentations will also provide information on practical ways to support international African penguin conservation efforts and protect the environment by making sustainable seafood choices.
