Penguin Point is the first exhibit to be opened as part of the Aviary’s renovation project. Penguin Point is a $1.8 million state-of-the-art exhibit featuring a Kids’ ViewTube — a tunnel into which children can crawl to get up-close views of the penguins’ underwater antics, as well as their rocky nesting grounds. The 2,300 square-feet exhibit houses a team of 11 African penguins.
