11 weeks to Opening Day The concrete mat for the penguin’s pool was poured today. |

9 weeks to Opening The perimeter walls are up and the interior walls are being framed. Concrete was poured for the penguin pool and Kids’ ViewTube walls. |

8 weeks and counting

7 weeks to go! Construction workers are putting in all the rebar forms that will shape the rockwork. |

6 weeks to Opening The new East Hallway with access to the twin ViewTubes. Concrete for the hallway floor was poured today. |

5 weeks and counting
The rockwork is taking shape. Concrete was poured to make the “rocks” this week. |

4 weeks to go! The acrylic viewing wall is put into place. The entrance sign for the new exhibit has been ordered. |

Less than 3 weeks to Opening Day The main hall viewing cave takes shape. |

Less than 2 weeks to Opening The rockwork is nearing completion and all of the new penguins have arrived. |

Penguin Point is Open! Grand Opening Weekend drew a crowd. The acrylic viewing windows and Kids ViewTube were big hits with penguins and visitors alike.
