Do you love animals? Have you ever wanted to spend the day at the National Aviary with 600 different species of birds? Our new summer day camp experiences will focus on a different type of bird each day, allowing our campers to get up close and personal with some of the residents at the National Aviary.

What’s in an egg? Why do birds have feathers? Do parrots really eat crackers? Make some feathery friends at the National Aviary’s Summer Day Camp for 4 and 5 year olds! Campers will learn what makes birds unique through games, crafts, stories and up – close visits from Aviary birds. A snack will be provided.

Discover what it takes to care for, feed and train more than 600 birds in this hands-on day camp experience. Join other teens during the National Aviary's single day Career Camp! Spend the day working with National Aviary staff and the animals that call the National Aviary home. This is a one day experience and both camp days feature identical curriculum.
