Rainforest
Through a multi-media, interactive presentation, students will experience the wonders of the rainforest. After learning basic information about this critical and rapidly disappearing land resource, participants will enter the Aviary's free-flight rainforest exhibit for an immersive encounter with rainforest birds. Students will gain appreciation for the world's rainforests and will leave equipped to start conservation activities in their own homes.

Taking Flight
What goes up might not come back down (for a while anyway). Learn the science and history behind animal and human flight while studying bird flight in the classroom. Discover the influences the bird world has had on our imaginations and engineering.

Wetlands
Discover the critical role wetlands and watersheds play in supporting human and animal life. Through a multi-media presentation, activities, interactive feedings and live bird encounters students learn to recognize the impact our actions have on wildlife and these important water sources.

See Grades 1-12 for additional classes geared for these grade levels.
