| The birds are found in family groups or pairs, and flight is rarely sustained. They are known to nest on the ground, producing 2 to 4 eggs. The chicks are brown above, and whitish buff below. The species, although very poorly known, appears to have declined markedly, and suffers widespread local extinctions. |
