National Aviary Named Top Vacation Destination for Bird Lovers

PITTSBURGH – May 3, 2010

PITTSBURGH – May 3, 2010) -- Ezinearticles.com has named The National Aviary “the best overall destination for bird lovers” in its Top 20 Bird and Parrot Vacation Destinations list.

The National Aviary received first place ranking in the top 20 list, beating out large zoos and other aviaries across the United States. Reviews and rankings can be accessed at http://www.googlewavestyles.com/top-20-bird-and-parrot-related-us-vacation-destinations/.

“The National Aviary was selected as the overall best destination for bird lovers for a variety of reasons,” says author David Weber, who compiled the list. “Topping the list was the wide variety of bird habitats and species and the wonderful feeling of being immersed in the birds natural environment. It's very easy to get caught up in the sights and sounds of all the birds and forget that you're in the heart of Pittsburgh. The National Aviary is clearly one of the jewels of Pittsburgh and is a must-see for any bird lover visiting or passing through the Pittsburgh area.”
