About SPRINGBOARD Architecture Communication Design LLC

SPRINGBOARD Architecture Communication Design is a nationally recognized architectural firm formed to stimulate, inspire, create and produce new architecture, clear communication and innovative design. SPRINGBOARD's innovative, research-based practice crosses the borders between art and architecture to develop creative solutions to challenging architectural problems. SPRINGBOARD's projects include college and university buildings, cultural facilities, museums, galleries, restaurants, commercial developments, community centers and private residences.

Founding Principal Paul Rosenblatt AIA NCARB received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Yale University where he received the Yale School of Architecture's Anne C.K. Garland Award, and edited Perspecta, the Journal of the Yale School of Architecture. Since 1987, Mr. Rosenblatt has taught at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture, where he is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor.

Paul Rosenblatt's buildings and projects have been published and exhibited nationally, having received awards from the American Institute of Architects, Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation, and the National Academy of Design in NYC, where Paul was honored with the prestigious Orville Lance Prize for Architecture. Other honors include a 1993 Young Architects Award from Progressive Architecture. SPRINGBOARD’s Universal Design solutions are included in the eleventh edition of Architectural Graphic Standards.
